Meet Erica
My introduction to strength training changed far more than my body- it changed the way I lived my life.
Like many women, I spent years caught in the cycle of body image struggles, diet culture, and the pressure to be smaller. Movement and food felt transactional, and my body felt like something to I had to fix rather than trust. When I finally committed to strength training and learning how to properly fuel myself, something unexpected happened: the physical changes sparked growth everywhere else. Confidence improved, discipline deepened, and my relationship with myself shifted.
That snowball effect is the foundation of The Self Space.
Over the years, my journey evolved into competitive bodybuilding, professional coaching, and earning my IFBB Pro card- but titles were never the point. What mattered was discovering that strength, when approached with intentionality, creates freedom. Not just in how you look, but in how you think, move, and show up in your life.
After years of coaching clients, I saw an opportunity to create something that blended physical training with personal growth. I envisioned a space that felt empowering, grounded, and real. One that encouraged strength, sustainability, and a space that supported people not just in how they move, but in how they live.
I saw a need for something different. Something that focuses on the whole you- so I built it.
The Self Space exists to help people grow beyond the workout- to feel strong, capable, connected, and confident in their bodies and their lives. This is a gym for those ready to stop shrinking themselves and start building a version of strength that carries far beyond the walls.
